This Privacy Policy describes how Founders Circle ("Founders Circle," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, apply for membership, create an account, or use our community platform (the "Service").
We collect information you provide directly, including: name, email address, company or fund details, application responses, profile information, messages and posts, meeting feedback, billing details processed by Stripe, and support communications. We also collect information automatically, such as device and browser data, IP address, pages viewed, and authentication/session logs needed to secure the Service. If you use AI features, we process the prompts and context you submit to generate responses.
We use personal information to: review and process applications; create and manage accounts; operate community features such as circles, messaging, matching, live rooms, and investor workflows; provide AI-assisted tools; process payments; communicate with you about your account, approvals, and product updates; maintain security and prevent abuse; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Service.
We share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, including Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Stripe (payments and subscriptions), OpenAI (AI features), Resend (transactional email), and hosting providers such as Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We do not sell your personal information.
Founders Circle is a private community, but certain profile and activity information may be visible to approved members according to your settings and product features. Do not share information in the Service that you are not comfortable being seen by other vetted members.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Application data may be retained after approval or rejection according to our internal review policies. You may request deletion subject to legal and operational requirements.
